Actually I do. I was old enough to vote for him. Are you. Reagan actually tried to control spending, but he could actually meet and work with Tip O'Neil and met with him everyday. He appointed Scalia, my favorite justice who started the originalist conservative judicial philosophy on the supreme court. He was solid on 2nd amendment, strong on National defense, and not an interventionist like the Modern Republican NEOCON dominated party led by the likes of the Bushes, Dick Cheny, Donald Rumsfield that lied there arse off about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and sent a bunch of people to die in bleeping war that they would not send their own kids to fight in.

Reagan in 1983 sent some Marines to help broker a cease fire in Lebanon. After the Marine barracks attack, Reagan had a decision to we send more young people to die in the Middle east and get involve in a civil war and regime change, or we just bomb the hell out of the people that did it and then get our people out and let those folks there fight it out as eventually people will get tired of killing each other. The one thing he did not do is get a bunch of young Americans killed in a war that we had no business fighting because it was not worth asking American Fathers and Mothers to see there kids blood spilled in the middle east.

Afghanistan was the correct decision, but all this other regime change crap stating with Bush and Iraq and Obama an Clinton with Libya, Egypt and Syria, only the optics differed there as it was covert US action, vs. boots on the ground by Bush.

So yes I know what Reagan Republicanism and I know what Modern NeoCon Republicanism is. The Neocon Republicans can go to hell with the National Liberal DEMS. I despise both of them
