Everyone knows when you say Penn it’s not Penn State
The first post says Penn Athletics
When someone tells you they went to Penn you know exactly what they mean

You mean in Philadelphia if you told people you went to Penn they thought Penn State?
Jeez in SC and NC that never happened
And now in work and up here (we get many Penn grads) it’s never confused

They get around it in a variety of ways. Have a good buddy that played basketball at Princeton. He had teammates who had good, but not elite, grades in high school but got "minority academic opportunity" scholarships and shite like that to go play basketball there.
Basketball and football are different as they are at every school.
My cousin played football at Harvard , he didn’t get much money because his family is pretty well off, but he was only a 4.0 1250 guy.
He was a very good football player being recruited by FCS schools

yeah I know, I'm not arguing differently. Just gave you the winking gif when you said Ivy's don't give athletic scholarships because while they don't officially, they still figure out a way to do it.
I know they probably don't give AF about volleyball though.

I've heard people say they went to UPenn to get around that. One of my bosses went there and he says this.
He's also a Wharton grad and let's everyone frickin' know it
Mugs, sweatshirts, license plate frame on his car (awful), etc. Such a choad.

What industry?
I mean if I went to Wharton I’d let everyone know it too
But I’d probably also be working with other Wharton grads

Anybody who is a Penn grad is smart enough to stay away from SC.

Says the guy living and making much more money in NYC than he would anywhere in SC.

Healthcare. We have a lot of Ivy folks and they have their own little unique rivalry with each other.
I went to Ole Miss and got my MBA at Auburn, so I don't bring up alma maters much in business settings

Someone actually confused this with Penn State
Moving on:
Anyone able to find out what the posters said?
