Best Dog Trainers in LA

Any recs on dog trainers? I work in Texas most of the month so I don’t have the time right now to train my new lab. I would be looking to leave him with the trainer for a few months. I’m more interested in obedience than I am advanced retrieving for duck hunting.

Where you located? OB is a two month endeavor so cut a deal with whoever you pick, I would cut my monthly rate $200 if they paid upfront. Once I know where you located I can give you a name.

I believe chad vidrine will do a good job for you, doesn’t take too many dogs. Slow time and should be able to fit you in, respond back if he is full or ask him for a reference. He won’t lie rent anyone but won’t set you up either. OB is gravy work and should get gravy rate.

Guy's, I'm sorry. I have nothing to add to this. I just wanted to brag about my grandfather's hunting dogs. He trained pointers and setters. He hunted all over Smith Lake before they filled it in. In the 60's, his pups were going for 350 a piece.

Make sure you schedule time with your trainer to go watch him work with your dog.

Brandon Menard is your area. Very good trainer. He’s with cypress bottom retrievers. Look him up on Facebook and message him there.

Red Rocket Kennels in New Iberia trained my nephews lab and that dog is awesome.
