Personally I don't mind paying taxes for necessary services but when they start using it for bullshite like studying a frickin salt marsh frog and giving free benefits to illegal immigrants I tend to take exception to that.

I’ve often wondered what it would be like having a form attached to your income tax at the end of the year that had check boxes to denote where your tax dollars went.... I bet we would have a lot better highways and far superior weapons for our military.

Ehhhh, I think even if stupid spending of shrimp on a treadmill were eliminated, etc. Many on this board would continue to botch. Hell, IB Chinaman would try to eliminate income taxes AND tariffs. Revenues to the treasury would be voluntary
