Phillip Webb
Zach Evans
& Marcus Dumervil would give us the #1 class and possibly best class in recruiting history.

If everyone else stays...
Who is left out? (Gaye, Cam Jackson Or Lee Or one of the safeties)
&
What current commit will decommit, the only name I’m hearing on change is WR R. Jarrett (but I don’t think that’s going to really happen)

He keeps liking Bama tweets and he seems to really like Bryce Young

Rakim has been solid to us for a long time. Ever since he committed to LSU he always talks about LSU on Snapchat. He is very excited to be here. Only way he isn’t in the class is if we tell him to walk, which we will not do.

If you’re a top WR, why would you want to go anywhere else?? Especially after how the offense has been this year

After LSU locks up Joe Brady with an extension to his current contract, if your a WR or QB you'd have to be insane to go anywhere else.

Yeah, tbh, I could see Rakim going elsewhere with the QBs we have in the fold right now. But, if we land someone else, then I think he stays.

I agree with you. Haynesville is a great football power, BUT they are a small 1A school which makes people devalue their players at the college level. Remember, Stevan Ridley was at a small, 1A private school that didn’t compete against public schools.

Yep. I played in the same league Ridley was in. Which is the same league Richard Dickson played in.

Jackson is a manchild. I watched him line up against 4A schools last year and they had to double team him every down and he was still in the backfield on every play. He reminds me of Marquise Hill.

We are already at the highest rated class in LSU recruiting history.

We will not have the highest rated in over all recruiting history.
Florida 2010 had 324 points
Georgia and Bama in back to back years had 323 points.

What’s amazing is Bama had monster classes several years in a row.
They basically had an all star team this decade.
Something is breaking down with their program to not be dominant this year in lesser games.
Saban looks tired and miserable.
At some point we knew there would be a changing of the guards. I think we are finally starting to see it.
That being said, LSU should have the best recruiting class in LSU history this year and things should only get better in years to come.

Worth noting it isn't "star packing" either (where we 'pad' a position with extra recruits simply because they are highly rated). We're pretty balanced and hole-specific, especially if it ends up including Dumervil (comfortable lead) and/or Crawford (ours if we want/can take him).

Has to be assistant coaching turnover. Which would add to Saban's stress and energy drain. Saban has always been high energy AND efficient. If one of those wanes, which the assistant turnover may very well be affecting the efficiency, the 'process' suffers.

We're not finished yet buddy. My class calculator puts us up to 326 if it happens how I think it will. But hey, we'll just have to see what happens! Meanwhile, GEAUX Tigers!

Don’t think clowney will be in this class. Word around him is he hasn’t been very good this year and people are cooling in him. I understand he is highly rated but that’s just what I heard. Also know rakim jarrets mom is sick and stays in and out of the hospital. Just something to watch for...

Hey Red

Saw Clowney play twice and he looked good both times.
But that was early in the season.

My man

I haven’t seen him much but I thought he looked fine when I saw him too. Of course, lots of whispers going around now that the class is full. Probably a lot of bs but we will see how it plays out

Being that I live in Livingston Parish, I was hoping he'd make it to LSU, but I noticed on 247 profile he has some interest in Ole Miss now:

Not sure what this means.

I'd trade Jarrett for an elite center and a lower-end 4 star guard.
