You can be extremely football smart and have a high football IQ and not necessarily be book smart. The two or a false equivalency. Added to say, I’m not saying that Coach O is not smart or Booksmart I’m just saying it’s not the same kind of smart.

Saban is a football genius but I am not sure he could to trig or calculus very well. There are different type of smarts.

And who here knows him well enough as a person to say he is not book smart? All we know about him is his public, i.e. LSU HC, persona.
