CHS vs Jesuit in the 90’s was pretty legit

Yeah it was, as is Rummel and Curtis over the past half decade or so. Hope it continues. The first two seem to stand the test of time even if both teams are having down years. I’m interested in others maybe in South or North Louisiana.

Don’t know about many rivalries outside of Lafayette area but the Acadiana/carencro rivalry was pretty bad in the early 2000’s. Especially once Alley Broussard went to LSU and the playing field leveled out

Ruston vs. Neville has to be the top North Louisiana rivalry. A lot of history between those two schools.

Those games were fun. They used to have bring in extra bleachers for the Catholic game. I’d still put STA/EA ahead of STA/Catholic because of the cross town aspect, but it wasn’t far behind.
