Once a Dem ALWAYS a DEM! That was your words. So according to you Eddie Rispone is a DEM!
At least he came to the light and changed MANY MANY YEARS AGO
Funny how according to your theory most people start out a Democrat. Perhaps a rigged system!

It's now 52/50 for JBE on predictit after early voting results. Up 3 today for JBE.

75,000 people moving out of Louisiana the past four years was always going to have electoral consequences, especially in a tight race.
I just pray that we can keep the margins amongst whites for JBE low enough.

It's not theory. Take a US history course or even a La History class baw. Up until 2005-2006 Louisiana was a blue state in regards to state-wide elected officials. Governors Dave Treen and Buddy Roemer were an anomoly. Helped to become elected by EWE, then both were defeated by him the next term.

That history, combined with senators, congressmen, etc, kind of mess up that whole "Bobby Jindal and Republicans destroyed the state" narrative you Filth push.
LA is LAST in everything now. People have fled the state the past four years like never before.
Keep voting for Filth. We are almost last...
Oh wait...

Since 1996, Louisiana has had 16 years of Republican governors leadership compared to 8 years of a Democratic governors leadership. So which party has really mismanaged Louisiana the past 24 years?
Posted on 11/7/19 at 4:29 pm to LSUgrad1998
Since reconstruction, that has been the ONLY R governors.
When you combine the other seats, Democrats have ruled this state for well over 90% of its existence.
But yes, it is all the fault of those Republicans!
PS - I was once Filth like you. I voted for many of these Democrats that have helped ruin the state. Only difference is, I woke up.

Wrong Baw. Using the data since 1996, I didn't include the earlier 8 years of Republican governors Dave Treen and Buddy Roemer.

I understand full well what data you are cherry picking.
When I look at a situation, I start from the beginning. What started all of this? Who implemented most of the laws? What party did our most "famous" governor represent? What party gave away most of our money and rights to our resources? What party backed racism and all of those destructive policies?
When I look at the entire picture, and not just to where I was voting Filth in 1996, I see a big blue D on it for the vast majority of it.
Instead of constantly blaming the people that didn't do it, I recently determined to quit voting for the ones that did.

Just pointing out Foster served 8 years then Blanco 4 then Jindal 8, now JBE 4. So you want to blame JBE and Blanco for Louisiana's rankings/troubles over two 2-term Republican governors. State ranking were poor under them as well. No way 4 years under JBE is worse than the 8 under Jindal. But you won't honestly say that.

That's how powerful JBE is apparently. He can single handedly put LA in the gutter in every stat all on his own in less than 4 years
Posted on 11/7/19 at 4:46 pm to LSUgrad1998
LOL. You are missing the part where I didn't vote for Jindal either.
The numbers the last four years don't lie.
LA is NOW behind MS in EVERYTHING. This is a DIRECT result of JBE's BS.
My last job was trying to assist a company from out of state to start up a branch in LA. The amount of lies, BS, etc, that this current administration is putting that company (and others) through is having them considering leaving.
More people have left this state the past four years, while the rest of the country is thriving in a Trump economy.
We no longer have MS to point and laugh at. Thanks, JBE.

Well crap man. MS has had better roads and bridges than Louisiana since 2000. Guess that a Dem created problem to huh? Even with 16 years of a R Governor in La?

Buddy Roemer was a Democrat. Only switched during his last year in office. That would make five years of Republican governors, both of whom were kept from doing much of anything by monolithic Democrat legislatures.
Dave Treen, the first Republican governor anyone alive at the time had ever seen, was voted out in favor of that legendary Democrat paragon of good government, responsible economic policy, and forward-thinking moral leadership, Edwin Edwards -- who had two more full terms to work his magic on Louisiana and turn it into the garden spot of America.
You should really stop now.
