I would venture to say all that money from lottery, casino's etc that was promised to help education has not done based on alot of the scores seen Whats next for La. government to charge citizens more to help improve education? unfortunetly seems like the population is getting smaller and smaller every year to raise taxes on.

You can throw a trillion dollars a year at public schools and nothing will change. Sure, they might have better facilities and what not, but the parents are still going to be the parents when the kid comes home. Parents that don't care = kids who don't care.
