I'm putting a Wok on my christmas list. Any recommendations?
I was looking at this one. But is is only 12 inches. Blue Carbon Steel so it needs to be seasoned like cast iron.

Seems vastly overpriced to me.
What sort of stove do you have? First, figure out if you need a flat bottomed wok for use on electric or induction stove, or if you can use the round bottomed kind (with or without an adapter, as needed).
Then buy a wok from San Francisco's Wok Shop, and spend less than half of the fancy French model you linked. It will be the same carbon steel, too. The Wok Shop: LINK
The Wok Shop is 45 years old, run by the awesome & interesting Tane Chan. Read about her & the shop here: LINK

Nice. I've got a traditional gas stove top. Can I use a round bottomed WOK?

+1 on the wok shop.
hand hammered carbon steel is what you want
get one with a welded handle on one end, the loop handle on the other end is optional. 99% of home kitchen use will be better served by a flat bottomed wok
its an excellent one-time investment

depends on the stove. Some stoves with bowl shaped burner surrounds that dip lower than the top of the stove (ie, unsealed burners) will take a round bottom wok easily. You just remove the round grate and plop the wok atop the burner. (My BlueStar works this way.) Others have square grates and/or sealed burners that require any pot to sit up above the burner--if that's the sort you have, flat bottom will work better.
You can buy a round adapter ring, but it usually raises the wok too high above the flame to cook properly.

It's sort of funny that it's Made in France.

yes it defeats the purpose of high heat.
one thing you can do if you have a round bottomed wok is to cook with it over a lit charcoal chimney starter

We have a wok shop wok, it’s been great for 15+ years. When I was looking to buy one I was shocked at the wok shop prices, but it’s super legit no doubt.
