Guy got mad that the traffic circle was built where it was. I want to say the Americana devs (Enquist) offered more than appraised value and he turned it down. On top of all of that I don't think anyone is actually living there now.

Per local rumor mill, he was offered about $300K for the house and property but wanted 2-3 times that.
