re: Optimistic we’ll score 30+. Not optimistic gumps won’t score 40+ vs an Aranda D.

Bama has scored 10, 24, 29 the last 3 years vs “An Aranda D”

You make a good point. Bama‘s point totals have been trending upward the last few years. In my opinion Aranda came into this season unprepared and opponents’ analysts have figured him out. Hope I’m wrong. But that would be rare.

I disagree he was unprepared. You may be right that opponents have slightly figured him out, though. He doesn’t have a Devin White or Arden Key or Grant Delpit(from 2018) to help bail him out when he doesn’t straight up out-scheme somebody. But I know Aranda is too smart and his ego is not too big to not be self-scouting this week and making some adjustments. Bama may beat us, but it won’t be because Dave Aranda was unprepared and not ready. It will be because their players simply beat ours. Just like it will be that ours beat theirs should—when—we win.

Can you name a game or situation when teams have out schemed Aranda this season? Any instances where our D was caught in the wrong call and players were running free all game or gashing us because nobody was there? No you can’t, 99.9% of the time players have either missed tackles or been unable to win 1 on 1 battles. We’ve had most of our stars hurt for a good portion of the season and we have glaring personnel holes in key positions yet Arandas D is still giving up only 18ppg this season. You say it’s rare for you to be wrong but you’ve been wrong on every topic you commented on today.
