That’s not a false statement, but it’s not that relevant to my point — do you really want to potentially see a 7-8 win team, in an 8-team playoff, in a 120-team league?
The point where I agree with you + the logic behind your thinking, if I am not mistaken, is avoiding regular-season rematches ...I am just not sure that auto-bids for CCGs are the best way to do that.
I might need to stew on this for a bit because I do agree that CCGs are a problem right now & either need to be elevated or eliminated.
