re: White House Ukraine Expert Vindman Sought to “Correct” Transcript of Trump Call

Two things -

1. When you cannot trust The Mob (also known as the alphabet agencies) and you want to learn the truth, you try to avoid doing business with and through them. Does "They can get back at you six ways from Sunday." mean anything to you?

2. Bear in mind that the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch was "fired" after she was found to be obstructing investigations into corruption, including repeatedly denying Ukrainian officials visas to enter the United States. The Ukranian officials wanted to hand over to Trump administration officials, evidence of the Obama administration's misconduct. It would therefore appear logical that the Ukranians would seek alternate paths to transmit their message.

As reported by ABC News, (not that I trust any of the MSM),
"Trump is accused of pressuring Zelenskiy during a phone call on July 25, about a week after the White House decided to withhold the aid.

Months before that call but some time after their first call, Zelenskiy's office reached out to U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker about getting in touch with Giuliani. Volker called the former New York City mayor to do so, Volker has confirmed, and Giuliani later met Zelenskiy staffer Andriy Yermak in Madrid in May.

In an interview with Fox News Tuesday, Giuliani said the department directed him to act, later telling other outlets that he briefed Volker and U.S. ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland after his meetings.

Pompeo said he had not yet read the entire whistleblower complaint, but defended what he'd "seen so far."

"To the best of my knowledge, so from what I've seen so far, each of the actions that were undertaken by State Department officials was entirely appropriate and consistent with the objective that we've had," he said, which is "to tighten our relationship [and] to help end corruption in Ukraine."

So we have the corrupt former Obama administration holdovers trying to protect their interests against all investigations and the President is to go ahead and give them a pass? I think not. He too has to seek alternate paths to root out the corruption. Ours is a President of and for the people, not a President of the swamp.
