Not exactly. The expectation for this season is 11-1. Now if the only loss is to Bama then yes it is a success and LSU will meet expectations

No, it was more like 10-2, and some said 9-3. Bama was a given loss, most predicted we'd slip and lose to someone we shouldn't, and a few thought we would lose to texas, Bama, and one slip up.

Success? Yes. But this team, had championship aspirations/expectations this year, like most, however, this a realistic year to have those lofty goals.
If championships are the measure, in reasonable championship years, then it falls short.
And I dont think that is a bad thing. Just means we are an elite program and championships are now the standard in evaluating years. Have to have a mindset like the Celtics and Patriots to accomplish such a daunting feat in a given year.
