As we all are getting swept up in the Euphoria of a #1 ranked team and a #2 ranked class. I have a question about the 25 recruit limit? Can we “greyshirt” any potential recruits, or “count back” to previous years? in short, is there a way for Coach O to sign more then the 25?

If LSU would have signed 22 in the 2019 recruiting cycle, they would have those 3 additional scholarships for 2020. That would have given LSU 28 spots to fill in Dec2019 and Feb2020.
LSU could sign more if the player agrees to greyshirt.

No counting back. Only 25 schollies available. Players can accept grey shirt and count to next year i believe but its not a common choice

if you mean, LSU doesn't have the ability to back count THIS YEAR because we signed a full class in 2019, then you're correct. If you are saying nobody can because of NCAA rules, you're incorrect.

Back-filling open spots from the previous year with early enrollees is absolutely still permitted.

so we have 1-2 spots at most available now. Who is most likely getting processed?

I really don't understand the obsession with this. It will all work out. It does no good and it's just in bad taste.

It may be in bad taste, but if Burch ends up committing I would think someone like Gaye will not be long for this world.

Especially if Evans, Dummervil, and some of the other prospects want in. I doubt we turn them away so something has to give.

Some of you just don’t care about throwing kids under the bus. That’s bad taste.
Coaches will work out the numbers.
