He should absolutely be charged with a hate crime. Vigilante justice is not okay under any circumstances.

Let me guess, you side with the brother and sister that were upset when a store clerk at Dollar General shot and killed their brother while he was attempting to rob it?

Just because it's not a hate crime, doesn't mean it's not a crime.

Calling it a "hate crime" is stupid. If you call this a "hate crime," then literally any battery or assault would be a "hate crime," which makes the entire concept of hate crimes null and void (which I think they should be).

Someone punches a non-handicapped person for parking in a handicapped spot? Hmmm...sounds like a hate crime.

Where does being a registered sex offender fit into these classes for it to be a hate crime?
