War Eagle vs Express

I have 754 high deck War Eagle which you can get it in high and low deck or laid out like aluminum bass rig. Then I put aluminum channel in mine to make a huge deck with huge rod storage area.

First I am a duracraft/ war eagle fan. I owned a few of them. I had one you could turn on a dime and your passengers elbow would get wet. The boat would not flip which sold me on Duracraft / war eagle years ago.
In your case for shallow water I would say War Eagle would lift faster.

My nephew is looking hard at 16ft express with the 50 hp tiller. They look nice also. For shallow water I can see it being a nicer rig. The one he wants has a nice gun box which can be a rod storage area. I do like the layout.

They both seem to be great boats.

have had several war eagle duck boats. ran them for years. I've had no trouble out of them, they really handle good, all in all nice boats. The xpress boats are also nice, seem to be built good as well. I currently have an 1860 xpress that they built as a one off with a cab on it for me that has been a dream boat. i don't think you can go wrong with either brand, however, given the choice between ONLY those TWO, i think id choose war eagle. That being said, I went from a WE to a Havoc and i couldn't be happier. Its the first duck boat I've ever had that was built exactly like i wanted, and has been everything i ever wanted. also nicer, and out performed any of the others I've had.

I have a 2014 War Eagle 861 Predator, with Yamaha 115, we are constantly hung on stumps, and everything else bad for a boat. Its been bullet proof so far, except for livewell.

War Eagle built by the Ward family in Monticello, Arkansas. The Ward family started building Duracraft boats in 1945. From there Duracraft been bought by a few companies just never took off like when the Ward family had it.

Ward family started War Eagle and now Duracraft is back with the Ward family also.

They are a great boat and have a price tag that reflects that.
