Rewatching the game..

Towards the end of the game Burrow appears to be locked in conversation with Terrace Marshall. I think this offense misses him and hope he is back next week. Sullivan has filled in admirably, but he is not an explosive athlete like Marshall is.

It's a completely different animal with Marshall on the field.

Saban said Marshall would be back, his foot was just a little black and blue.

Was there any original timeline for when he’d be back?

I mean, he's one of the best receivers in the country, so yeah.

He's absolutely missed. With him on the field along with Jefferson and chase opponents can pretty much throw man free coverage and the 5 man pressures that come with it out the window. Nobody's 3rd best corner is covering one of those guys. Mississippi state ran a good bit of man free and got torched anyway but I doubt they even attempt it with Marshall on the field along with Jefferson and Chase.
