Says that Soros demanded Shokin(Ukranian prosecutor investigating Buresma) be fired.

Here's a question for the Demwits on the board. If everybody was wanting this prosecutor fired for NOT being tough on corruption in the Ukraine, what did the NEW tough prosecutor's investigation find on the CORRUPTION? Did the corruption just STOP once the new prosecutor was hired?

Not necessarily, no. But make no mistake - Shokin was and is corrupt.

Remember that testimony that John Solomon reported about? The one where Shokin trash talked the Bidens?

Well, it turns out that his testimony was made in in support of another Ukrainian oligarch (Firtash), who the US has been investigating since the GWB era (per Firtash's attorneys) and is trying to extradite.

Here's what Guiliani had to say about Firtash earlier this year:

quote:

He is considered to be one of the close associates of [Semion] Mogilevich, who is the head of Russian organized crime, who is Putin's best friend. Lanny Davis has represented him for four or five years. If the newspapers are correct, he gets $80,000 a month from this guy who's considered to be one of the high-level, Russian organized crime members or associates

Funny how John Solomon didn't mention Firtash at all in his article about Shokin's testimony......
