Where is all this legendary tailgating going to be at, would love for us to check it all out.

Hopefully you're not going to be tailgating this weekend...

Will be in Starkvegas and that is crappy. Wait two weeks and geaux to LSUvsAubie and then wade into tailgating from downtown BR to St. Gabriel.

You will be eating great no doubt

Sorry, it will be for the Auburn game. We will be making the drive down from Memphis

For a 2:30 kickoff, you and dad need to be parked and settled no later than 7 AM. Is your dad still spry enough to handle that schedule? Not trolling, just saying.....

Yeh, he is a mechanic so plenty of energy. We are staying at a relatives house Friday then coming the rest of the way Saturday morning

Do your relatives live near Baton Rouge? Just wondering because there is going to be more traffic than you would expect because of gameday traffic for an early afternoon kickoff and Baton Rouge's terribly laid out infrastructure.

They live in Natchez, MS. Little over an hr from BR

I can guarantee you that you won’t have to look hard. Make your way toward the stadium, from ANY direction, and you will run into tailgating.

Just get to campus and you will find tailgating. Do your self a favor and park on the north side of campus so you can get out after the game towards Natchez or you will hate yourself

Thank you for the tip.
With the game being played at 2:30, it should be over by 6ish. This is good advice since it will still be daylight by the end of the game.
However, if this was a night game, I would avoid parking north of campus. The areas north of campus on Highland and Nicholson are pretty rough, so you wouldn't want to leave your vehicle in the area/walk to your vehicle at night without a large crowd. Since you live in Memphis, you probably know plenty about avoiding these types of areas

Park and pay at one of the church pay lots on Dalrymple Drive on northside of campus. If you aren't on northside of campus it'll take you 2hrs to get off campus after the game...most the crowds are heading south and contraflowing that direction.
