Definitely mention the issues to them. You don’t want to do anything that causes the docs or the anesthesiologist to have surprises. They need to know in order to better take care of you. It’s in your interest to be totally upfront.

Side note, I’ve had two shoulder reconstructions, shoulder ligament replacements, had part of my clavicle sawed off, brackets and screws put in my shoulder. Recovery was a huge pain and burden. I still deal with constant pain and limited mobility in that shoulder. This all happened in my 30s. It’s not fun and my prayers go out to you.
