re: David Pollack on the LSU/Florida game

Pollack gets a lot of grief here but at least he doesn’t pussy-foot around the issues. He has an opinion and he goes with it. From a recent article I read:

During a forum on Houston quarterback D’Eriq King’s unprecedented redshirt maneuver, Des, Herbie and even Rece Davis put an equivocating spin on things with one or two even noting that they’d spoken to Dana Holgorsen. It was left to Pollack to point out the short-sightedness of the dynamic, that in potentially returning King for an unblemished 2020 season Holgorsen may have fully lost the players he currently has. We don’t have the sound byte available, but the gist of Pollack’s argument is that Holgorsen has no shown his cards to his team: To paraphrase Orwell, some players are more equal than others. Pollack, thankfully for us viewers, was not. “Let me tell you something,” he said. “Notre Dame is out.”
