There's the whole part I wrote where I got her pool back in shape and now her grandson is taking care of it. By the way, this happened early summer and in a matter of a couple weeks, according to my neighbor. I have done plenty maintenance on her pool and sprinklers to know this.
ETA: didn't know I was going to cause such an uproar by stating the good and bad in HOA's, as the OP initially asked. In summary, I like having an HOA in my neighborhood, there are just particular things that go outside of reasonable reaction.

No I didn't do these things, but in my defense, the main reason I didn't speak to her or see how she was doing is that I have no clue where this woman lives
