You know what’s impressive (besides America, of course)? Japan. A pre-industrial, feudal society before the turn of the 20th century, infused with state-directed, Westernized, militaristic, myth based capitalism after the beginning of said century and was entirely and utterly defeated in war (partially with nuclear devices) that has surpassed every country on earth economically but the U.S. and China which has 10 times its population. Plus, they’re nice and like baseball.
