re: Anyone been to Italy in March/April?

That is my favorite tine to go. The weather is fine, and, except for Easter in Rome, it is not that crowded. I have been several times in March and April and the weather is usually very nice. I was in Tuscany and Venice last year at that time and we could not have asked for better weather. Some days were chilly but out of two weeks we only had one day of rain. .... We were in Rome for Easter in 2014. It rained the night before, but Easter morning was perfect - sunny and mild. We spent the week before Easter on the Amalfi Coast. It was nice most of the time with a couple of days of cool drizzle.
