Thirty-four years ago I was shopping in a grocery store in Monroe, Louisiana and there were three kids going at it putting each other down with their remarks.

One kid responded to a remark by saying, “Well your mamma makes gumbo.” Whatever that means?

The other kid said, “Yeah, but your momma supplies the crabs.” I understood that.
