Every city has assholes. 99% of the time you will be fine on a road trip as long as you have thick skin and don't go looking for confrontations. We had 0 issues in Seattle this past weekend and everything I read before was how bad their fans are and how they push pregnant women blah blah blah

it's very popular for people to say so and so team has the worst fans

but let's be 100% clear: chicago has the absolute worst fan base towards visiting fans. philly is a close second, but chicago is the winner.

2006 was a nightmare.

Going for a bachelor party. Sitting in Section 349. Going up Thursday afternoon and leaving Monday morning. Got an Airbnb in Wrigleyville. Me and the wife went up in April and we found a LSU bar that we will probably go and watch the LSU vs Miss St game at.

This whole premise of the people in Chicago being super nice is bullshite. Rude, self serving and very short fuses.

Hey Sader, will also will be up in Chicago for a bachelor party and also staying in an Airbnb in Wrigleyville haha. What’s the name of the bar where you watched the LSU game? We don’t have tickets and are looking for a bar to watch.

I had zero issues at the Coliseum two weeks ago. I think you mostly get out what you put in. I was friendly and provided insight into what I thought the Saints might try to do in specific situations and got the same in return from Rams fans. Yeah we talked a little shite when big plays swung in one direction or the other, but because we already had established a baseline of friendly rivalry, it was all good.

In the second quarter two of the most vocal Rams partisans turned around and said to me "man, your defense is legit."

Chicagoans are generally either ambivalent to or assholey towards the people they are supposed to be close to.

The are double-time assholes towards strangers.

They are triple-time assholes towards fans of the visiting team who visit their hallowed Soldier Field grounds.

Have a nice visit! Make sure to wear B&G!

Went to Chicago for a bachelor party 5 years ago and got to enjoy a Saints win at Soldier Field. The views alone from the stadium were badass over looking Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. But the best part was we didn’t get hardly any flack from Bears fans cause the Saints sailed to an easy win that day!

Checkout my video below from a bunch of Saints fans raining down The Who Dat Chant on Bears fans as we were leaving the stadium! One of my best memories from a Saints game trip.
