Working, unfortunately. But won't be getting much done.
Bringing the fryer to work and making some shurmp po'boys for the lads. It gives me an excuse to stay in the break room near the TV

Is the standard good?
Yeah, it’s a solid sports bar and a good venue. If there is a game during the bachelor party, then it’s worth checking out. The Milwaukee/Division/North Ave area in Wicker Park has tons of good bars and restaurants within walking distance if you want to bar hop
Outside of LSU game days, a sports bar is really all it is. Lots of other places I would recommend before Standard if you’re coming in town.

Had wisdom teeth out yesterday, so I'm still stuck on a soft diet for gameday this weekend. Probably going to work up a brunch with scrambled eggs or omelettes, biscuits and gravy, grits, bacon, fresh fruit, and juices. I'll eat whatever my kids don't devour and that my sore jaws can handle chewing. Should be back to the smoker for next weekend. :)

Wrap it in thick cut bacon, wrap in heavy foil and cook low and slow. You won't be disappointed
