QB recruiting is such a hit or miss and impossible thing to predict

And yet the same schools each year seem to have elite QB play - Oklahoma, Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Southern Cal, etc.

There's no reason why LSU can't be part of that group. But QB recruiting absolutely has to improve, otherwise this season really will end up being an anomaly.

You do know Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and Jalen Hurts are all transfers...They are not at the school that signed them out of high school. Ohio state current starting QB a transfer, their 5 star high profile QB signee Martel transferred to Miami. USC hasn’t done anything at QB other than Darnold the past ten years despite being in the most talent rich QB producing part of the country..Alabama did struggle getting a highly rank qb that would produce until Hurts and he was replaced by Tua and transferred..Jake Coker Alabama 2016 National championship QB was a transfer...they have won with defense not qb play...These successful programs aren’t dominating with just guys they evaluated and recruited out of high school.
