Not sure if you got lucky or medicine has gotten so good that you can spot shite on tv and diagnose both the iinjury and recovery times

but damn yall were spot on (at least for now)

I will take my lumps because I said yall dont know shite, wish I could bump the thread with the xray type pics showing the details...cant find it, but cheers to that guy

all in all, could have been worse...we'll fight thru it and get the general back for division games..stay positive

who dat!

I mean, it was pretty easy to tell what the initial thought was by looking at how they were testing, how/ where they wrapped it, and the fact that he couldnt even pick up the football

And the fact they didnt immediately get XRs pointed more to a soft tissue injury as well. Common things being common, wasn't too hard to deduce UCL.

What's funny is so many on here had that or a very similar injury and could identify it based on the testing and the wrapping.

Saw you are in that field....Obviously every person is different, but would you agree with the timetable that is being reported for his return?

Would sound as if he wont be 100% for a longer period of time

Like I said in another thread, 6 weeks to be back cleared for full sport after this surgery is on the quicker end. Considering hes a QB who needs to be able to grip hard, makes this even more challenging. I hope I'm wrong, and they will definitely push it considering Brees only has so much time left. You wouldnt bring back a 25yo franchise QB in 6-8 weeks though, I'll put it like that.

I have not seen anyone today post what I was told this morning as far as the exact injury.

I was told to keep my mouth shut so that is what I am doing.

You have maybe one or two posters who knew what they were talking about, and then you had 100+ others who copied what they said and acted like they had a clue what the injury was.
