My friend who is a long standing season ticket holder said it was the most juiced up crowd in 20 years at DKR. It was very loud and they stood up the entire game. The loudest was on 3-17 but after Jefferson caught the pass and bolted down the sideline it was like they turned off the rock concert speakers all at once.

I'd say it was middle of the pack in the SEC. Bama is the best comparison, but the atmosphere never felt crazy or unhinged to me like I've experienced in other stadiums. Bama's atmosphere as a whole feels more intense to me, even though the decibels were similar.
DKR doesn't hold a candle to Tiger Stadium, the Swamp or Jordan Hare though.
