1). When asked about performance.

He gives the company line. It’s a long season. Just want to improve. Focused on Nortwestern.

Hosts say, “You really are a coach’s kid!” Joe laughs.

2). Beating his head against wall as pregame ritual.

“Well I don’t get hit in practice. It just wakes me up.”

I fricking shite you not. Our boy Joe 3:17 beats his head against cinder blocks to “wake up” before a game.

3). On cockiness.

“Fine line between cocky and confidence.”

4). On Texas game wave.

“Well they shot a cannon through my jersey. That was weird. But it made me want to hang 400 on them”

5). On DBU.

“Ask the DBs.”

“We only scored in 8 out of 11possesions. Some of those were field goals. We could have done better.”

6). On horns down by his Dad.

“Very unlike him. He usually jumps me for that stuff. We were caught up in the emotion.”

Imagine Nick Saban and Tom Brady have a love child. That’s Joe Burrow.

When asked how Brady had made such a difference between LSU offense last season to this.
He answered, we have almost the entire team back this season. I've worked with the receivers all off season. There is a trust between us. They believe I am going to get the ball to them and, I believe they will be at the spot where I throw the ball.
He said Coach E has done a good job of designing the offense and calling the plays.
They asked why he is so cocky. He answered, there is a thin line between being cocky and being confident.
They asked him his expectations for the season.
He answered, when last season ended we felt like we could win it all this season. We still believe.
