I used the Fowl Dogs dvd series.
Water Dog is also good, although considered outdated by most trainers. Still a good easy read that gives you more info if nothing else

I actually have a copy of wd in my bookcase at work that needs a new home. Probably 40 yrs old.
Someone who needs it post address and it will be in the mail Thursday.
All I ask is when you’re done do the same thing so no coloring or notes.
