Neil Armstrong called an audible a couple hundred feet before landing because the "computer" was taking them to a bad spot. and of course because he was an All-American Bad arse he stuck the landing.
Maybe a better example are the airbags we used to land on Mars.
Either way, IRSO needs to get on our level.
