From BR, second year at LSU. Driving around BR looking at damage the day after. Power out everywhere. Stopped by where a girl I had my eye on, was staying until her sorority house was completed. Asked her to have a beer with me. Went to the Bengal Lounge and had warm beer by candlelight.
Still together 54 years later.
