Sorry, but in a year where you have NC aspirations, you don’t back off just because it’s a state school. Put in the backups after the comfortable lead is built, sure, but don’t call them off.

They can do whatever they want to that pitiful team but there is no reason to beat them that bad and you will see Brennan in the game early in 3rd quarter. They will be auditioning the different RBs. They could have hung 70 on GASU but no reason to

He can't tell them to stop scoring or tackling. NWSt seems really very bad.
I agree, in 1958 when we beat Tulane 62-0, it was 6-0 at the half, then it all collapsed for Tulane, with superior talent all across the board there are going to be some quick big plays, and the D should create a lot of three and outs, no matter who Orgeron is playing. He can't tell them to stop scoring or tackling. NWSt seems really very bad.

Just curious, how does beating an in-state school by 70 instead of 50 make any difference in the goal of a national championship?
