Trump and Congress gave Porta Rico 92 million dollars, right, and over 29 million got stolen ?????. Not a penny to the Bahamas. They're British anyway, right?

What do you think the possibilities of mining, building, and securing it as that type of asset would be?

When he came in and started the screaming about the condition of New Orleans after Katrina...he was aces in my book. I guess anyone with two brain cells would have done better than what was at the helm.

Could be worse.

How many long faces do you think there are among the Left that this thing didn't pound Puerto Rico at its 5-category level making one more crisis accessible for them to not let "go to waste."

Where they could get a few hundred thousand more Puerto Ricans into Florida just in time for the election.

Would've been half the battle won with only Texas left.

if you watched the video that was able to get out on social media, you might have a minimum level of concern for the people there. what I saw was 95 % of habitable housing is going to be missing. we have not heard about the death toll but it will easily exceed Katrina. we have not heard about it because there are no lines of communication. the Bahamas do not have fema, a cajun navy, Walmart truckers, or 5 states electrical lineman staffing. those folks will need help.

when the donor agencies come around starting Tuesday evening, check them out on how much of the donations get to the field many of the agencies are in it for their own paycheck.

posting the better routes to help would be a whole better than belittling the folks that live in the Bahamas

based on experience with Harvey
best. a buddhist donation group out of Taiwan
Episcopal church

worst Red Cross

could probably put 50 groups in best category and 8-10 in the worst

No frick them too. We need to reduce all foreign aid by 25% a year over the next 4 years and take care of our own country.

Cool.. Down with it

There's no reason for the loons to complain if, after the damage is assessed, we choose to help the Bahamas a bit

They are allies and neighbors and if we can spend $40 million on insect studies, we can help out a neighbor that needs it after a natural disaster
