I may carry for him now but he'll be my first cut
if he has the surgery, which at this point would likely be next week. Add 7-8 weeks of rehab, with a bye on week 10, you're looking at him returning to action week 10 on a team that's probably going to be well out of contention by then. Even if they aren't he's sure not coming into that game with much a workload. So it'd be borderline playoff team before you could even consider starting him. I'd rather burn a bench spot on kareem hunt for that long
