So you'd prefer for Trump go into an explanation that GM could have expanded their plants in the US to service the Chinese market, but they didn't do so in order to avoid Chinese tariffs and because of the cheap Chinese labor...

GM has exported Buick Enclaves to China. Only because they are so in demand the ChiComs will pay the massive tariffs.

I don't get the indignation with any company setting up operations in an area local to another market. It's efficient. It's business 101. What's the problem, and what's nefarious about it?
Did they make factories in China to ship cars to the US? That would be dumb.
