Yea I’m also doing cash in hand on gameday

just a heads up. There are going to be a shite ton of counterfeit and duplicate tickets outside the stadium on gameday.

For example, the tickets I purchased on stubhub were emailed to me as a PDF. If I wanted to I could print 100 copies of them and sell the same tickets over and over again outside the stadium. The only tickets that will work will be whoever goes into the stadium first

I guarantee you that if you wait until gameday morning, you pay face or lower on StubHub. Plus you have the guarantee re: counterfeit.

Now, lots of people don't want to risk driving to Austin without a ticket in hand but you will basically pay for the gas and hotel with the money you save if you wait.

There are some good counterfeits and then there are some really bad ones. I’ve seen some for big Saints games and they’ve got the foil matched and the real bad ones that were on fake Ticketmaster stock with sections that don’t exist. If you buy from a scalper, see if they’ll walk you to the gate.

Exactly....word of advice...make ur scalper walk up there to the gate with you to scan it. The 2010 bama lsu game in BR (one of the best games ive ever witnessed) didnt get off to a good start for me due to the fact that the scalper was selling tickets that were already scanned once that day. When I brought my 90$ game ticket that I had just bought from a scalper, the scan gun said it had already been scanned once that day. Somehow the guy who got in the game was able to slide the ticket to his scalper partner who resold it to me. I got my money back but it took me the entire first quarter to track the thief who sold me the used ticket.
