Kidney stone pain is just a completely different kind of pain. With most pain I've dealt with, I've been able to find a position to eased some of the pain, but not when I've had kidney stones. That pain just keeps coming in waves, and there's no to get comfortable to ease.

Both times I've had them though, I passed them pretty quickly. Last time I was in and out of the ER in 2 hours first thing in the morning, and had passed it by lunch.
