re: What's a better investment for a girl, 50k in student loans or 50k in cosmetic surgery?

I'm in Europe for the last two weeks, and my girl is visiting every Gucci, Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton store we come across.

The women I see buying 5k purses, all either look like Instagram models, Milena Trump type kept women(great bodies& plastic faces), or are Crazy Rich Asians.

Now, it's probably because the same person wanting to spend 5k handbag is so much into the aesthetic that the customer sample is biased, but somehow these 20 something, arse hanging out their shorts, side boob exposed shoppers sporting no less than 4 carat rings, have room on their Credit cards that they pull out of their Gucci bag to buy their new Chanel purse.
