13) G$
Last Season Record 59-100 (10th place)
Best Players: DLO, Bagley, Vuc, Nurkic, Favors
Off-Season Additions: Bol Bol, Okafor, Little
I love DLO, Bagley, and Vuc. Bagley is in for a breakout season this year in Sac town - especially with the departure of WCS. I think Bagley could average around 18ppg and 9 rpg. Vucevic was a 2nd round player last year and we will have to see how DLO performs in Golden State. He should still be able to eat and be a top 40 player while Klay is out. Losing Nurkic to that devastating leg injury was a blow and he remains without a time table to return. As this franchise is likely to finish in the bottom end of the rankings, I wouldn't be surprised to see Vuc get moved as G$ attempts to get younger and acquire more assets. DLO and Bagley gives G$ some nice players to build around if Vucevic were to be moved.
Oh and Nikola Mirotic signing overseas was a blow. Nikola Mirotic signs with Euroleague

12) PCT:
Last Season Record: 104-56 (3rd place)
Best Players: Sexton, Sabonis, Durant, Klay, Oladipo, Rui, Garland, Colby White
Off-Season Additions: Durant, Oladipo, Klay, Rui, Garland, Colby White, Sexton, Sabonis
Port finished the regular season in 3rd place last year after making a bunch of deals in an attempt to compete. This franchise went for it - but things didn't fall his way last season. Realizing that his team was getting older and likely not able to contend with the top teams in this league, Port hit the reset button. He brought in Durant, Oladipo and Klay - all of whom are big question marks for next season. Port isn't playing for next season though so he can comfortably wait on these three guys. He was also able to draft Rui, Colby White and Darius Garland. Of the three I like Rui the most. Port has a lot of options as next off season gets near. He could move his young guys and compete with a team built around KD, Oladipo, and Klay. Or he could ship them off for more young guys and draft picks as he builds around the pups he has on the team already. As it pertains to this season, Port has Sabonis, Sexton and his rookies to trot out on a nightly basis. Oladipo should be back by December and for this reason I give Port the slight edge over G$.
