Back in the 80s this town used to be all white and was the center of a lot of KKK meetings. Oprah even came here to do interviews, there's footage online about it.
Back a few years ago some dude shot up the court house. He didn't kill anyone but the cops sure as hell got his arse.

That place has changed a lot, and it didn't take any heavy-handed legislation or anyone acting victimized... just good old-fashioned money and hard work.
