From what I've read, basically they find the part of the shaft that is the most stable and orient that part facing the target when they insert it into the clubhead. I play 2-3 times a month if I'm lucky, just wanted to upgrade from my Callaway X-16's that I've had for over 10 years. Don't think I need my shafts pured, seems like overkill.
