Holy shite, this is the trippiest movie I’ve seen in a long time. So many freaky wtf moments. Like really weird

I thought I was actively going to hate it because some of this weird stuff is a bit too much but I thought it somehow worked to a certain extent.

While a movie like midsummer failed because it was weird and emotionless. This movie actually works on a few different t levels. There are some weird funny moments. There were some moving moments , and some truly truly truly fricked up moments that you just watch in suspended disbelief

I wanted to take a shower after Midsommer. Not so much after this.

Saw the reactions and didn’t waste my time with it in theaters, it’s on prime now though and I have it on my list
This is the same guy that did call me by your name also, kind of a disappointing follow up. Wonder if he will get his career back on track

I thought it was way too long and mostly boring. Tilda Swinton was great in all of her roles and the ending was good too. Very different from the original.

I liked it. Never saw the original, so can't compare. I'm not a horror fan, generally speaking, because the ones that I see usually stink. But Suspiria was certainly better than most. Swinton rocked as always. She owns her roles.

As an aside I'd like to say that I appreciate your well-rounded taste in movies, athens.

I believe it was you who turned me on to Aferim! a while back, one of the better movies I've seen in some years. Almost a horror movie unto itself, in a way. Anyhow, thanks!
