Dining plan is a scam. Staying onsite is overly expensive and overrated too. You don’t wanna pay their price but you aren’t looking at other options either.

That all depends on your perspective. Some Like the convenience of essentially prepaying for meals. Same with staying onsite. Getting to the airport and letting Disney take over has quite a lot of appeal.

Convenience has a cost that many gladly pay without batting an eyelash.

We definitely got our money's worth last trip, especially at some of the nicer dinners, or character breakfasts.

It is expensive, but I did not need to get a rental, had early/late access to parks, and had the ability to let little TDV sleep without leaving the park.

Way off base there. It is not overly expensive and far from overrated. Just the use of the transportation system tips the scales, not to mention convenience and experience.
