re: I don’t get it- How is Louisiana failing this bad?

I'm a NOLA native, but the only reason I still live in LA is because of my wife's parents. I have a great job but wouldn't have a problem finding one in any other state. I am concerned about my kids going to any school in La. public or private. Tulane and LSU are both located in shitholes and I won't consider them going anywhere else in the state. There's a better than 50% chance they'll move elsewhere.
