People weren't mad about him leaving. Lots of people didn't want to even offer him a contract at all after the injury. People were mad at him for lying about not being offered by the Pels at all.

And for bitching out and not attending the Portland series because he said his doctor said no flying. Meanwhile, he posts pictures of him on his agent's plane flying to Coachella and Vegas.
